Jan-April dengue cases 15% lower than 2021

MANILA - The dengue cases reported from January 1 to April 30, 2022 is 15 percent lower compared to those logged during the same period in 2021. In a Viber message to reporters, the Department of Health said there are 22,277 dengue cases reported from January 1 to April 30, 2022. There were 26,114 dengue cases during the same period last year. "The weekly reported cases in 2022 were significantly lower except in Morbidity Weeks 12 to 16 (March 20 to April 23, 2022) where cases were higher than the cases in 2021," it said.
