@ 9:36 am Pack the Backpack, presented by Central Office Supply, a division of Minuteman and Kix 101.1! Each month during the school year, we will be awarding $101 to a Kix Country classroom to help out with supplies. We will award the prize on the last Wednesday of the month. You can listen to each new winner at 8:30a on the Morning Kix Start. Our last winner of the school year is Mrs. Courtney Albee, 3rd Grade Teacher at Fisher Elementary in Marshalltown. She was nominated by student, Collins Grant. Here’s what she wrote to Kix 101.1.: I nominate Mrs. Albee 3 rd Grade Teacher from Fisher Elementary. I think Mrs. Albee should be nominated because she is very good at teaching my favorite subject, math. She should get pens, tape, folders & more. I would like to give something to her for all of the hard work she has shown me and my classmates. When we went to online learning she didn’t give up, she stayed strong & helped us keep learning ....
