After Egremont struck down the proposed eight-town merger between the Berkshires Hills and the Southern Berkshire regional school districts, Mount Everett students voiced their opposition to the proposal.
In a 143-78 vote, Egremont rejected an eight-town school district merger, which puts an end to this particular consolidation plan unless the town later reconsiders.
