BFSAI is reporting that the Paras are not the only elite British forces currently in Mount Pleasant Complex for the Falkland Islands 40th-anniversary commemorations.
On Sunday, marking the 40th Anniversary of the Liberation of Goose Green, East Falkland, and despite a brisk wind blowing snow across the monument, a service of commemoration was held to remember those who gave their lives in the battle.
Protective measures for all Falkland Islands residents are being advised following a number following a number of cases of COVID-19 being confirmed at MPC. The Commander British Forces South Atlantic Islands implemented a number of precautionary measures at Mount Pleasant Complex (MPC), following a number of positive COVID-19 cases which were identified outside of quarantine it was announced on April 15.
