The Congress party in Madhya Pradesh is set to launch the "Jan Aakrosh" Yatra, covering all 230 assembly segments in the state. The party leaders have accused the BJP government of rampant corruption, unemployment, and crime against women and Dalits. The Yatra will highlight these issues and aims to gather support from various sections of society. The BJP has also planned a "Jan Ashirward Yatra" to seek the blessings of the people ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in November.

"India is a country where a majority of people follow Sanatan Dharma. However, the BJP is trying to divert the attention from real issues and hence brought up the Sanatan Dharma controversy," Kamal Nath said while responding to a query on remarks by some leaders of DMK, a member of the INDIA bloc, on the ancient faith.

Union Minister V K Singh has claimed that the number of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir has decreased due to the development taking place in the region. He stated that sporadic terror incidents will continue as Pakistan continues to interfere in India's internal affairs. Singh also mentioned that the misconception that J&K is different from the rest of the country has been dispelled, as infrastructure, industries, and tourism are developing rapidly.
