“In my entire life, I've never felt more silenced about my identity and being Palestinian [than] in my four years at WashU. And so it's nice to finally organize something — to have our voices heard on campus,” organizer Ayah Hamdan said.
Two rallies on Washington University’s Mudd Field were scheduled for Friday morning in response to the latest Israel-Hamas war: One to show support for Israel, and another to protest the Israeli government’s blockade of food, water, and electricity in Gaza.
Treasury representatives in Student Union (SU) heard appeals from six clubs and allocated $18,866.03 in funding for sports teams to travel and clubs to host on-campus events, bringing the total amount of money allocated this semester to $34,685.53.
