A doctor who punched a fellow doctor, breaking his colleague's finger, has been told to pay €2,000 in compensation for the assault. Muhmammad Fahad of Store Street, Tullamore, Co Offaly appeared before Sligo District Court where he denied assaulting a former colleague, Asif Anwar. Dr Anwar told the court that on June 11th he contacted Dr Fahad who he knew from previously working with him at Sligo University Hospital.
