The thing about these, they stayed on the ground for so long and tracked across the state. many people knew they were coming. the fatalities could have been worse, even though they re, obviously, bad enough already. this is near clinton, mississippi, near jackson. the storms stayed together as a supercell, that s what prouz the tornadoes and moved across mississippi and right up here into tuscaloosa, alabama. that s the same storm. this was the one two days ago in tushka, oklahoma. smaller tornadoes are rotating around the parent base of the supercell. they can cause all sorts of destruction. obviously in a much wider area at times, two miles worth of destruction as opposed to let s say a couple hundred yards. these multivortex tornadoes, alex, are the reason why some homes are fine and others get completely destroyed as a result of these storms moving through. we have a wild day ahead of us. all of this heading over to north and south carolina and ....
