Road accidents on national highways and expressways are becoming a common occurrence. Days after a truck carrying oxygen cylinders caught fire near Changodar near Ahmedabad, a massive fire broke out on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Highway in Gujarat's Valsad on Feb 21.

Despite being a busy road, everytime the focus is more on widening the Mumbai National Highway 65 instead of constructing a flyover, which would address the problem on a permanent basis. Neither the officials nor political representatives are responding to the requirement.
For instance, Pothireddypalle chowrasta is the entry point to Sangareddy district headquarters. The vehicles that come from Hyderabad take a right turn to enter the district headquarters while the vehicles going to Mumbai go straight. But all the vehicles have to stop here to make way for each other. A flyover with underpass will solve the problem. However, a flyover was built a 500 metres away from the chowrasta where little purpose is served.

It was about three kilometres from the Mumbai National Highway about 70 kilometres from the district headquarters of Sangareddy. Although the village is near the highway bordering Karnataka, development has not touched the village.
Green lush fields are visible on the outskirts of the village. Adjacent to the fields stand an old temple with Goddess Tulja Bhavani. It was stated that though the temple was constructed in about 1,000 yards, the premises of the temple was in about four acres. A huge trench with rock formation on either side was visible around the premises. At some places it collapsed/ dismantled and covered with sand and mud.

The proposal to put on hold implementation of the three farm laws, which farmers protesting on the borders of New Delhi have been demanding repeal, is a devious plan and an internal agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party, alleged leaders of Communist parties in Nalgonda. Activists of the Left parties staged rasta roko in different parts of the State as part of the nation-wide call given for three-hour ‘chakka jam’ by farmer organisations.
