AP Govt Will Make Every Effort To Safeguard Vishakha Steel Plant: Botsa

Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana has made it clear that Visakha Steel is the right of Andhras and its privatization will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, he said that the centre has clarified in Lok Sabha responding to YSRCP MP’s, saying that the State government has nothing to do with the VSP as the decision was taken by Central Government. However, the State government is committed to the letter written by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Prime Minister Narendra Modi against privatization, assuring him that the government will extend its support to overcome VSP losses. He assured that the government shall definitely stand by the intention of not to privatize the steel plant.

Visakhapatnam: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana lambasted TDP leadership for making cheap allegations against YSRCP leaders during his visit to the port city seeking votes in the upcoming GVMC polls.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the Minister said that the entire TDP regime under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu was filled with corruption, where he looted public money, government lands and tossed the public welfare. He asked whether any poor had been given anything during Chandrababu's rule other than betrayal. The minister recalled the land records in Visakhapatnam that were tampered with during the Hudhud cyclone looting many valuable lands.

YSRCP Wave Will Continue In AP Municipal Polls: Botsa

Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana on Thursday expressed confidence that the party will sweep the municipal elections as indicated by the wave of unanimous elections by YSRCP candidates in many municipalities.
Addressing the media here, he said, that so far 578 wards across the State have been elected unanimously and of them YSRCP candidates have won in 571 wards without polls, securing 98.8 percent. He stated that the municipal elections are being held in 75 municipalities and 12 corporations rounding a total of 2794 wards. Unlike Panchayat polls, as Municipal elections are being held on party symbol, the minister said that YSRCP will sweep in a smooth way.

Amaravati: The State Government has clarity on development of Amravati region as Legislative Capital and has taken initiatives in that direction.
Speaking to media here on Thursday, Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana said a bank guarantee of Rs 3,000 crore has been approved from the government side which includes developing Seed Access and Karakatta roads.
TDP is intentionally creating confusion among the people on Amaravati development even though Chandrababu failed to provide wide access route to Amaravati region during his term. He questioned Chandrababu, why the seed access roads could not be laid in the five-year TDP term, and did anyone obstruct him from laying roads? The Minister stated that Chandrababu Naidu had spent hundreds of crores on temporary structures during his tenure misusing public money but was unable to acquire land for a small connecting bridge.

Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana said the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadaa Ramesh Kumar has been vindictive towards the Government and his letter to the Governor is uncalled for.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the Minister unequivocally condemned the letter written by SEC to the Governor and said that it is the State Election Commissioner who had repeatedly crossed the Lakshmana Rekha with his vindictive nature and has accused the ministers of violating their rights and personal reputation. He said that the letter itself was like terrorising the Governor. He questioned why is it necessary for the SEC to go to Kadapa and make comments that are not relevant to the elections.

Vizianagaram: Ministers Vellampalli Srinivas and Botsa Satyanarayana said that they were deeply saddened by the Ramatheertham temple incident and assured to take serious action against those responsible for the inhuman and heinous act. The ministers held a meeting with the temple authorities and priests and enquired about the incident.
Speaking after their visit to the temple here on Sunday, Minister for Endowments Vellampalli Srinivas said that Ramatheertham incident was an inhuman act, where opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu has been politicizing it and rubbing it on the government. Amaravati: Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana said that the State government has put public welfare in the forefront, strengthening from the village level, despite going through COVID-19 pandemic.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the Minister said that Gandhiji's dream of Grama Swaraj has been fulfilled through Village and ward secretariats, by offering over 500 government services through the secretariats and further creating employment for 3.9 lakh youngsters as volunteers and secretariat staff. All these secretariats have been made into core handles for all welfare schemes, reducing the hassles for beneficiaries, and maintaining complete transparency in providing the welfare schemes. Asserting that village and ward secretariats have played a pivotal role in tracking Covid cases, the Minister said that the government had effectively dealt with catastrophic situations, tested more than one crore people for Covid, and removed the looming fear among the people. Under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, by taking effective measures the State government had effectively controlled the spread of Covid.
