Police have arrested five men, following the search of a home on Auckland's North Shore 15 April 2021 Armed police carried out a search warrant on a home on Sunrise Avenue in Murrays Bay yesterday -- evacuating neighbouring homes after finding a suspicious package. Police say they recovered a number of items of interest at the scene, including a revolver, ammunition and explosives. The five men -- who are all gang members -- are due to appear in court today, charged with unlawful possession of explosives. One has also been charged with unlawful possession of a pistol and ammunition.
