A NEW café or shop could be opening in Basing View on the ground floor of Eli Lilly’s new headquarters. Work to the 42,528 square foot five-storey office building, called Benchmark, began in 2019 but was delayed because of the pandemic. It has since resumed and is set to be complete later this year when pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company will move in, relocating from Priestley Road.
