To catch a final glimpse of my new favorite city, i head out to toronto island park, a 15-minute boat ride from downtown. before i travel any place in the world that s typically like a stereotype of the place. and over time, you start to realize that it s really not accurate. but the stereotype of the overly polite, super considerate sweet canadian is accurate. i m at the point in my life where i want to be in a place where people are really nice to each other. to be canadian, it means to be kind to people. i love this country. my name is abdullah. i was born in damascus. when i left here, i was 12 years old. since the war started, actually my dad didn t want to leave. but it s not safe anymore in syria, actually there is no life basically. hey, gentlemen, how you? ....
