One or two withered and dusty garlands hung from the neck of the statue. No one is sure when the statue was garlanded. The shocking sight was a broken concrete replica of Bhagavad Gita that is lying in front of the statue put up on a concrete pedestal. And the final nail in coffin or shall we say the statue, were the rusted steel rods protruding from the statue.
