A small, well-organized community: the Japanese Team Championship
Japan is not a nation known for having strong (Western) chess players. Nevertheless, there is a small and well-organized community of chess practitioners. Recently, the Japanese Team Championship took place in Tokyo. The Osaka Chess Club won the event.
