NT Health Northern Territory nurses and midwives have been recognised tonight in Darwin at the 2021 Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards in a year of record nominations. More than 140 nominations were received across nine categories recognising the outstanding efforts of nurses and midwives from all over the Territory over the past 12 months. The 2021 gala event recognised both finalists and overall winners for 2020 and 2021, after the 2020 awards were postponed due to COVID-19. All nurses and midwives who hold a current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and are employed in the Northern Territory at the time of nomination or within 12 months of nomination are eligible for the annual awards. ....
