KUALA LUMPUR: Police detained 28 individuals, including four Chinese nationals, in a raid on an illegal gambling syndicate's call centre located at a luxury apartment in the city. Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department (CID) raided the apartment at Jalan Stonor at about 4pm on Wednesday (July 28).
