The Pella wrestling team opened the Little Hawkeye Hawkeye in dominant fashion, winning over Newton 59-18 on the road Tuesday. Pella found wins by fall from Ryan Hancock at 126, Nathan Born at 152, and Ethan Milligan at 170. T.R. Putz also scored a technical fall in a 16-0 win at the 132 weight class. The head-to-head win gives Pella an 8-3 dual record, and they’ll return home for the annual Bill Van Horn invitational Saturday morning.
