The Lemoore City Council called a special session Thursday to approve the original proposal for a cannabis-infused lemonade manufacturer after the manufacturer said no to conditions the council added during Tuesday’s regular meeting. During Tuesday’s meeting City Manager Nathan Olson introduced a projection development agreement and cannabis regulatory permit for Flavor Fusion, LLC. The agreement included a fee structure, part of which was a 1% fee on gross receipts for manufacturing, not to exceed $45,000. Lemoore will be moving forward with replacing its 22-year-old city software after approval from the City Council on Tuesday, and water restrictions prompted by a water tank explosion have been lifted. Assistant City Manager and Administrative Services Director Michelle Speer said the software the city is using now was purchased in 1999. The City of Lemoore has cleared a major hurdle in the process of getting the damaged Well Site 7 up and running, and may be able to lift watering restrictions for the public by the end of this week. City Manager Nathan Olson said Tuesday that the Station 7 Water Facility Complex (or Well Site 7) has restored power and passed the state’s bacteria testing, giving them approval for release.
