Defected launch afro house label, Sondela, curated by Sef Kombo and Louie Dunmore
Legendary London imprint Defected Records has launched a new afro house label. Working closely with Defected founder Simon Dunmore, the outlet will be curated by A&R Managers Sef Kombo and Louie Dunmore. The label's first release will be ‘Ezizweni’ by enigmatic champion of African house, Hyenah, featuring Durban's DJ Tira and jazz singer Luke Ntombela. A second release, 'Ancestor's Calling' by Native Tribe & TTAN's will follow on 5th March.
