FTC has focused on the Anti-Tying Rule of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, MMWA which limits manufacturers’ ability to steer consumers to manufacturer-affiliated repair shops. Plaintiffs have noticed, filing class actions based on purported violations of the Anti-Tying Rule.
