New navigation coordinates into the flight management system which is the navigation computer on the aircraft. how about reports that the plane made dramatic changes in altitude from about 25,000 feet up to 45,000 feet. i don t recall with my numerous cross country trips ever flying at that kind of altitude. why would a plane go there? it s not clear that the primary radar data is that accurate. that it can tell specifically what altitude it is flying. the 777 is not designed to fly at 45,000 feet and would be difficult to manage. it doesn t have a designation which would allow it to go to 45,000 feet. the speed at which an aircraft cruises, and an aircraft stops flying is very very close at 45,000 feet. ....
