VAN, Turkey
Another family has joined the anti-PKK protest in Turkey's eastern province of Van taking the number of demonstrators to 30.
The families chanted slogans against the PKK and marched toward the local headquarters of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), which is accused by the Turkish government of having links to the terror group.
Saliha Mert, a mother whose son was abducted by the PKK at the age of 17, accused the HDP of “stealing” his son. She called on other mothers to take action and fight for their children.

VAN/HAKKARI, Turkey
Relatives of those forcibly abducted and recruited by the PKK terror group held protests outside the provincial office of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in eastern Van and Hakkari provinces.
They said the HDP is complicit in the disappearance of their children.
Ten families gathered on Cumhuriyet Avenue in Van and walked toward the HDP office carrying banners that read: "Mothers of Van on child-watch," "Enough is enough, let us be!" and "We want our children back."
Protester Atiye Dayan said her daughter Silan was tricked into joining the terror group in 2015 and her child was supposed to study and go to school but the PKK gave her a weapon.

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey
One more family on Friday joined the ongoing sit-in protest against the PKK terror group in Turkey’s southeastern Diyarbakir province, demanding the return of their abducted sons.
The protest began on Sept. 3, 2019 in Diyarbakir province when three mothers said their children had been forcibly recruited by YPG/PKK terrorists.
The sit-in outside the office of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) -- which the government accuses of having links to the terrorist YPG/PKK -- has been growing every day.
Mother Zinnet Cengiz from Kocaeli, northwestern Turkey, joined the protest for her son Tuncer, who was kidnapped and taken to mountains about five years ago when he was 18 years old.
