The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles is adding 52 new driver's license examiners in an effort to improve customer service. The examiners will be added to the state’s 35 DMV offices in advance of the summer peak season. The new employees graduated Thursday from the DMV’s Basic Examiner Training Schools and will start work on Monday. In the Triad, three examiners will be assigned to Winston-Salem offices, with other graduates heading to High Point and Lexington.
