Alleged drug supplier Abdul Kadar Shaikh has approached the Bombay High Court seeking bail in the cruise ship drug case involving Aryan Khan.
A special court in Mumbai refused to grant bail to Abdul Kadar Shaikh, an alleged drug supplier arrested in the cruise ship drug case in which Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, is the prime accused.
The High Court gave time to the Akali Dal leader so that he could appeal the court's order dismissing his anticipatory bail plea in the Supreme Court.
Observing that detailed investigation will be required even to prove innocence of the accused, the Mumbai Court remanded Aryan Khan till October 7 in relation to the cruise ship drug case.
What are the offences for which Aryan Khan has been arrested? What is the punishment under the NDPS Act if he is found guilty?
