Goodwill donates clothing vouchers to shelters
A warm coat, a nicer outfit for a job interview or other essentials are needed by Missouri's homeless population. With the goal of clothing the homeless in mind, MERS Goodwill is donating $75,000 in vouchers to 29 homeless shelters in Missouri and Illinois. Four of these shelters are in Columbia: Presbyterian Children's Transitional Housing, Welcome Home Inc. serving veterans, True North serving victims of domestic violence and abuse, and Rainbow House's children's emergency shelter.
