Selama dua pekan itu, sejumlah kegiatan masyarakat dilakukan pembatasan atau bahkan ditutup, seperti halnya kegiatan di pusat perbelanjaan atau mal atau pertokoan. Berdasarkan pantuan ayobandung.com pada hari pertama PPKM Darurat ini, Sabtu, 3 Juli 2021, Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP) tak terlihat aktivitas perdagangan di mal yang berlokasi di Jalan Merdeka itu. Pintu masuk utama BIP pun ditutup rapat. Pada pintu itu terdapat tulisan "Mohon Maaf Tempat Ini Sementara Ditutup".
