Nigeria Police Arrest Member Of Gang Reportedly Contracted To Steal Children For Ritual, Other Criminal Purposes In Enugu

The Enugu State Command of the Nigerian Police Force on Sunday announced that it has arrested a member of a child trafficking gang. The Command's spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Enugu. Ndukwe said that the suspect identified as Ifeanyi Omeke, 21, was arrested by its personnel attached to Igbo-Eze North Police Division in collaboration with the state Neighborhood Watch Group on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Igogoro village in Enugu-Ezike community of Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area. ....
