Cumbria Constabulary currently operates twelve CCTV Cameras in the area. All but two cameras are located within the town centre while two others are located outside of the town centre on Egerton Court, with a proposal being submitted to Barrow Borough Council to install a security camera on Duke Street. The cameras in the court went live in February 2020 and had been funded by BAE systems as well as the South Crime Safety Partnership.
