The National Weather Service has released an additional statement regarding a network outage on Tuesday, April 2.
Every type of severe weather, including the storms the St. Louis area Monday, relies on radar feeds from the National Weather Service. However, major outages late Monday into early Tuesday caused a lot of problems, not just for meteorologists but for the public as well.
A follow-up statement on AT&T's website mentioned that the $5 credit equals the average cost of a full day of service for AT&T Wireless customers only and excludes AT&T Prepaid, AT&T Business, and Cricket accounts. Read more.
