Grove School students begin community service-based project

The 240 students at the Grove School started a school-wide service project focusing on creating community during the pandemic. On Thursday, Nov. 19, students heard from eight organizations through Zoom, including the Redlands Conservancy, San Bernardino County Museum, Redlands Family Service and Redlands Mayor Pro Tem Denise Davis. “Every year we do a big project,” said English teacher Melanie Knypstra. “In the past, we have done ones involving history, art, even community interviews.
