Have to believe news of that is gonna get out in the world. and even if there is no actual conflict of interest, you're not whispering in the corner about how to rule out particular case, i doubt that's happening. but the fact that they're together fraternizing, i think, creates the perception that the court is not independent and these people are all pals, buddies, drinking partners. it creates a bad look for the court. perception is as important as anything else when it comes to the legitimacy of the supreme court, and you would hope that the justices would find other things to do them to sp...
