While addressing a press conference on the provincial administration’s achievements of the past five years, held at the Council of Ministers on April 4, Sam Oeun said he is seeking investment in their promotion and preservation.

The Ministry of Tourism has issued a set of instructions for the competent officials nationwide to ensure Covid-19 prevention and control as well as the overall quality of the Kingdom’s tourism products, particularly on December 31 and January 1.

Holidaymakers made nearly 1.26 million domestic trips nationwide during the three-day Pchum Ben Festival this year, representing an almost 90 per cent rise compared to the corresponding time last year, with Battambang, Siem Reap and Kep provinces receiving the most visitors, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
