Three police officers GREATER Manchester Police (GMP) has fired a warning after an alarming increase in reports of house parties ahead of heavy fines being introduced next week. Aside from New Year's Eve, last weekend saw the highest number of Covid-19 rule breaches in the region for five months. There were 190 fixed penalty notice (FPN) fines handed out with 87 of them linked to house parties. And now GMP is warning people to stick to the restrictions and help stop the spread of the virus or face being hit with a fine of £800 for going to a house party of 15 more people.
