Jo Deering, from New Milton, died aged 52  in 2011 while she was in the care of Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust will come under scrutiny in a series of hearings that will be held over the next six weeks. At the first one held yesterday, Nigel Pascoe QC said the hearings will be looking into the handling of complaints at Southern Health as well as a number of policy including communication with families and patients.
