Consequent to the demerger, each shareholder of NIIT has been allotted one share of NIIT Learning Systems for every NIIT share they held on the record date of June 8, 2023, according to the company's filing.
"We are today number five in the learning outsourcing space worldwide and even though the climb is steeper from now onwards, there is opportunity for us to gain market share. So, yes, while the markets will go through a sluggish nature, we are on track vis-a-vis our overall outlook and the direction that we are following as well as the five-year projections that we have been discussing. "
NIIT Learnings Systems reported a profit after tax of Rs 192.20 crore for FY23. It revenue for the year was up 20 per cent at Rs 1,361.80 crore. Ebitda margin for the quarter stood at 23.2 per cent.
