It has been a tough year for local service clubs that have struggled to raise money to meet numerous requests for assistance.
The Rotary Club of Nipissing recently launched two virtual fundraisers to help fund community projects.
“The past year has been a very difficult one for many service clubs as traditional fundraising efforts have had to be shut down or be modified. However, the requests for assistance have not disappeared and we have been searching for ways to continue our community support, while meeting all COVID-19 guidelines,” said Kevin Smith, president of the Rotary Club of Nipissing. ....
