Indian officials from the CBI, ED, and NIA are heading to the UK to accelerate the extradition of Indian fugitives, including Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya. The team, led by a senior officer from the foreign ministry, will meet with UK authorities via the Indian High Commission in London. The team also aims to bring back arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari, who fled the country in 2016 and is connected to Robert Vadra.

Senior officials of the Indian investigation agencies, including NIA, ED and CBI, are planning to leave to the United Kingdom to expedite extradition of India’s most wanted fugitives, including defence dealer Sanjay Bhandari, diamond trader Nirav Modi and Kingfisher Airlines promoter Vijay Mallya.

A joint team of CBI, ED, and NIA is contemplating a visit to the United Kingdom to expedite the extradition of fugitives Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, and Sanjay Bhandari.

The extradition cases of Bhandari, Modi, and Mallya are currently awaiting resolution in the UK, as they have appealed in higher courts against deportation to India.

Sacdheva made the statement after the central probe agency issued a fourth summon to CM Kejriwal to appear before it for questioning in connection with the alleged liquor scam.
