E. B. Magalona earns Hall of Fame award for exceptional environmental governance, winning for the third consecutive year in the Abanse Negrense Good Environmental Governance Award (ANGEGA) in the Local Government Unit (LGU) category. The Municipality's outstanding performance was recognized by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, with a total of eight awards received. Mayor Marvin Malacon and the E. B. Magalona delegation were honored for their commitment and leadership in championing good environmental governance, further inspiring impactful initiatives and strengthening their commitment to protecting the environment. The awards came with cash prizes, and the Municipality had previously passed the Sustainability Levels 1 and 2 of ANGEGA in 2021 and 2022. The E. B.
