The Nokia G10 is to be the first in a whole new line of smartphones from the brand

Ticker
Nokia has a new phone called the G10 in the works. At least, this is the gist of an "
exclusive" new tip published by NokiaPowerUser (NPU), which also observes that, if true, the leak means the putative phone is also the first in a brand-new series from the company.
NPU also now believes that, thanks to the use of the letter G here, Nokia is also jumping on the "gaming phone" bandwagon with its new line. Then again, this "G10" is also rumored to have a 6.4-inch display, which might fall short of the real estate than is often valued in this category of Android devices. On the other hand, not every phone marketed to mobile gamers is a full-on flagship.

Nokia 5.4 review: Should you buy this phone in 2021

Top phones 2020
The popular dialogue from the movie Chennai Express where Shahrukh Khan says "don't underestimate the power of a common man", many could relate. If anything, Nokia 5.4 reminded us of that dialogue, as the smartphone builds on decades-long legacy that comes with the brand name of Nokia. HMD Global, the Finnish manufacturer, is milking the brand's popularity to its advantage and why not?
Nokia 5.4 is the latest smartphone in the company's humble portfolio of entry-level and mid-range smartphones. There are a lot of things going for Nokia 5.4 and some that don't woo consumers as much. So if you're thinking it's all nostalgia play here, you've got a lot to explore and you'll read all about it in this review.

I have to make this absolutely clear from the start. There is just something about the simplicity of Nokia phones which gets my attention every single time, even though I know there are always similarly priced rivals who may win a battle or two in terms of pure specs. Never been one to fall purely for specs, experience matters. That’s what the newest Nokia phone to arrive, the Nokia 5.4 also replicates. Much like its elder siblings. The thing is, much like its predecessors, the Nokia 5.4 also lands in the thick of the battle. Not just in terms of the price band, but also the very aggressive competition it has to face. The Nokia 5.4 is priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option and Rs 15,499 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The pricing is very similar to the Nokia 5.3 which was launched in the second half of last year.

Bought Nokia 5.3 last year? Here is why you should not upgrade to Nokia 5.4

Bought Nokia 5.3 last year? Here is why you should not upgrade to Nokia 5.4
HMD has launched a new smartphone called Nokia 5.4 and it is an upgrade over the Nokia 5.3 that was launched last year. But should you upgrade?

Highlights
Nokia 5.4 comes with a Snapdragon 662 processor that is not better than Nokia 5.3's Snapdragon 665 SoC.
Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 5.3 both come with Android 10 and will be upgradeable to Android 11.
Nokia 5.4 offers very few reasons to upgrade from the Nokia 5.3.
There is a new Nokia phone in the town. It is called Nokia 5.4 and it is the successor to the Nokia 5.3 that was launched back in August last year in India. The Nokia 5.4 is logically an upgrade over the Nokia 5.3. This means the specifications, the features, and the overall appeal should be far greater than what the Nokia 5.3 had. Often, an upgrade also bears a higher price tag, only to loosely justify the one too many bumped-up specifications. But in the case of Nokia 5.4, its price is exactly similar to what the Nokia 5.3 was launched for. It costs Rs 13,999 for the base variant.
