. today s jobs report revealed a slight cool down in the labor market, employers added only 236,000 jobs last month. meantime the unemployment rate dropped to 3.5% cnn business reporter rahul solomon is here to break down. the numbers were held great to see you. so this is the first jobs report in a year. that came in below expectations. what is going on, fred? good to be with you? yes. so let s take a look at the numbers, right? so 236. it was slightly below expectations and we can show you sort of what we re looking at over the last year. how this compares with the last year, so 236 to put that in context, the expectation was closer to 239. definitely on the lighter side, but this you could argue was just very vote. robust job growth. and so what we re seeing is a gradual cooling and normalizing, so to speak. i can also tell you in this report, fred. we saw a job forced labor force participation the share of americans actually participating in the workforce. some nice gains there. al ....

Debate as with so many things in america of people who want to lie their way through this or claim that accountability is a prosecution. those claims will be tested in court. if a judge finds or a jury perceives this d.a. or this process has been politicized and it s not about the evidence, i think it would blow up in their face that s why we have an adversarial process. the burden is on the d.a. s office, not the defendant. those things have to be tested in court not at mypillow.com or any place that recycles conspiracy theories. one more thing, katy, as we reflect on this i just looked at the filing, the people versus donald trump, defendant, we lived through an insurrection. we lived through an effort to overthrow democracy. the investigation in that case is open and ongoing. we re living through the normalizing of that. ....

natasha, it s so interesting, we are so much more conscious of mental health, issues and struggles, then we were ten years ago, say, and removing the stigma by talking about it. and i think stories like this, the storytelling, shows like this are important for normalizing, that and changing, i know that i grew up in a household where, me talking about therapy, that was seen as like a cultural thing. like our people don t really do that. and, we ve gotten rid of, that the new generation has come up, they re china stories on social media. but ironically, i think social media are also countries to some of the depression we have, we know the isolation that is a risk factor for depression. so it s like while we re sharing our stories, at the same, time i think we still need to get in rooms together, and make sure that we are practicing community, and really looking out for each other. good point, double edged sword. i agree, 20 years, ago maybe longer, four years ago, going to therapy ....
