The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to resurface streets and repair curbs and sidewalks in 15 downtown Indianapolis locations.
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says it will devote roughly $14 million to help repair Indianapolis streets damaged by vehicles detouring around North Split construction.
In honor of the reopening of the North Split interchange, Hoosier leaders joined together near Lewis Street to celebrate the occasion.
"It's a tedious job to get here and get in and out of this area now, where before it was so simple," said Larry Ettinger of Leon Tailoring.
