Grayville resident Brooks T. Bube was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery Friday night in Grayville after a stabbing incident. Grayville police say Joseph R. Wampler was stabbed in the back of the head, right index finger, and right arm during an altercation. He was treated on scene by the responding officer and Edwards County EMS before being Air Evaced to a hospital. Bube was taken to the White County Jail. 24-year-old Nelson L. The Indiana Department of Transportation put out a list of federal aid projects that have been funded in coming years. In Angola’s case, it has received word of receiving $2.6 million to construct sidewalks along North Wayne Street in 2026. “I am pretty excited about the award announcement and finally being able to start a project that has been discussed for many years. The Wayne County Health Department will hold a drive-through COVID vaccination clinic tomorrow. It is for all Phase 1B individuals, and the fairgrounds will again be used as a staging area. Officials will then direct them to the department at the appropriate time.
