Manitoba Conservation said they captured an adult coyote "as part of efforts by the Manitoba Conservation Officer Service to respond to recent coyote attacks on children."
The mutual aid request is the result of a partnership among states and provinces to share wildfire resources.
Manitoba is waiving entry fees to all provincial parks from July 10-16, where visitors won't require a park pass for their vehicle.
