Rest from digestion, which can be stressful on the body. but the majority of us are nutritionally challenged. eating so much cooked food, so much processed food, so much food that has no nutritional value whatsoever, that if we re skipping meals on top of that, we re not doing our bodies any favors. when i first started fasting, my doctor made sure i ate raw fools and supplemented for three months before i did my first fast. so in a nutshell, if you re feeding your body nutritionally dense foods and you re nutritionally well balanced, the occasional fast is a good idea. but always check with your doctor first. oh, and one last thing, on january fourth, a guest on our show claims aspertame caused ....
