Difficult thing for mayors to deal with because no matter what you do it s never quite good enough for the citizens, number one. and number two, look, everyone s facing reduced budgets and there s just so much equipment you can have and just so much overtime you can allocate. i know mayor bloomberg and he responds to emergencies and i m sure the new york folks did as well as they could. sometimes, snow falls because of how quickly they fall, how expected or unexpected they are, the type of snow can present different types of challenges. i don t know enough about what happened in new york to comment. new york got hit much worse than philadelphia. mayor nutter did a great job and his folks in removing snow in philadelphia. penndot, who works for the state did a great job, i-95 and the schuylkill expressway were open and passable all night, we didn t have one major accident on either of those thoroughfares. in fairness to new york, the way the bond of snow came up, philadelphia got hit ....
