Foreign policy is how we learn about the character and personality of our president. there are too many factors in economic and other domestic policy. foreign policy is in his control. obama looks weak, confused, conflicted, torn and he doesn t look like a president. i think the long term effect of this will not only be the possibility of a war that saps his popularity and divides his party. but the indelible impression of weakness. sean: with our own economy suffering, food prices the highest since 1974. gas prices we saw the barrel of oil today over $100. he s playing golf. spent the weekend in rio. on espn picking brackets, doing fundraisers. where is this guy? he doesn t seem engaged. let s call it by its right name. we are entering a double dip recession now the gallup poll ....
Fair objectives. we wish our military men and women the best. thank you. thank you. sean: japan s nuclear crisis takes a turn for the worse. breaking news, next. live report from our own greg palkot, straight ahead. and louis farrakhan speaks out against obama in harsh terms. that and much more straight ahead. i was driving in northern california. my son was asleep. i really didn t see it coming. i didn t realize i was drifting into the other ne. [ kim ] i was literally falling asleep at the wheel. ....
Impeachable offense. this is wrong. it is fundamentally wrong. and i totally disagree with what president obama is doing this is a very grave matter. it is without constitutional authority. the president doesn t have any constitutional right to attack libya without the permission of congress. the fact that he has done so without going to congress is a very serious matter. sean: a congresswoman is also upset saying launching military action against another nation requires congress to be fully informed so we can exercise our constitutional authority. i therefore call on speaker boehner to call an emergency session returning members to washington so the president may address a join session of congress and be given the opportunity to make the case for war. joining me with reaction is former clinton adviser dick morris. for so many reasons this gets ....
Bosnia. after 78 days of air strikes having said no ground troops would ever be in there there were ground troops. my thing you cannot ever takeoff the table ground intervention. i don t think we should. sean: i agree. wait a minute we better have an objective. the president said in rio we are going to maybe the world safe from tyrants. are we going to sudan, going after mugabe, bahrain, yemen, insert ourselves in syria, lebanon, saudi arabia? what is how do we define success? what is our mission? what is the new obama standard here? points are taken. i m a believer the clinton administration should have intervened. if the first george bush was correct in somalia when we first went in. then you remember we chained the political objective but didn t build up forces to match it that is my concern. ....
And i believe he is, control the air, you win it. you just said the important thing how long do we have to be in it to win this whole thing? there was great reluctance by the president to even get onboard. we are not leading the effort. france is leading the effort, great britain, we seem to be going along for the ride. there s no defined mission that i can tell. sarkozy is now the leader of the free world. it doesn t bother him what putin says or anybody else. i m told that the message he delivered straightforward was, we re going with you or without you. that forced obama s hand. and obama then sent hilary clinton off to do what she could in paris to salvage it. at that point you already had on the ground, in benghazi, french and british commandos, to control the airstrikes that saved benghazi. steve reported as well as rick when he was out there on the effect of that airstrike. ....
