Driverless trains on hold: BMRCL to wait
Despite owning a few trains capable of DTO, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has chosen to observe the success of driverless operations in other cities before proceeding. “All new coaches purchased in the last 1-1.5 years are equipped with driverless technology. These coaches are capable of both manual and automatic driving. We have a few cars capable of driverless operation but we are not using them.
