economists say there s no hints in the newest unemployment report that another recession is starting. 103,000 jobs were added to pay rolls last month. that s a stronger than expected increase. july and august figures were also revised upward as well as to show an additional gain of 99,000 jobs over the summer. the overall unemployment rate held steady at our white house correspondent dan loathian. what is the white house saying about all the numbers heading into a senate fight over the jobs bill? reporter: wolf, top aides here at the white house say that unemployment rate of 9.1% is still unacceptably high. they re encouraged by growth in the private sector. but white house spokesman jay carney said it s far from good enough. they believe that the president s jobs bill is one way to get americans back to work. and that s why you ve seen the president campaigning across the country and again this week holding a news conference here at the white house putting pressure ....
