GE scoops Vietnam wind deal - reNews - Renewable Energy News
GE Renewable Energy has secured a turbine order for the Cau Dat wind farm in Vietnam’s Lam Dong province. The manufacturer will supply 15 4MW-137 wind turbines and will provide operations and maintenance services for the wind farm for 10 years, which is being developed by Ocean Renewable joint Stock Company. The turbines, which will have a hub height of 111.5 metres, are “ideally suited” to exploit the wind conditions in the mountainous range of Lam Dong in the Central Highland region of Vietnam.
